My 214 keeps blowing fuses i am also havin issues with my sunroof stickin open does anyone have any ideas what the problem could be?

hi all just joined this forum i have a rover 214 si and im sure as you are all aware the head gaskitt isnt all that good however i have recently had it fixed (2months ago) and now am losing water again internally and have taken it back to the garage. The head gaskit is covered under warranty however the garage claim that it is not the gaskitt this time but the cylinder liner has gone porus and leaking has any body ever heard of this as i have phoned 5 other garages and spoken to engineers and they all say that the garage is ripping me off, cheers every one rob

The clutch on my 1997 420 gsdi is slipping but it was only replaced six months ago anyone any ideas.

I think that the 75 has such classy interior... but I own a 25...
It's all leather inside, including the steering wheel, however, where can I find a 75 steering wheel for my 25 ?
Would it fit ?

Yes,I know it.I had some problems with a water pump.It's terrible work  Good Luck !

I'm going to change my thermostat now. oh its such a job as its easier to get to from the underneath of the car, fingers crossed it is that and all my problems will be solved by the end of the day :)

I'm not sure,but I think,that You're right.It could to be wrong thermostat - it looks like that.

Hey Ive got a rover 200 16v si Auto, and I recently started to notice it sounded really rough (this is my 1st car as I only passed my test in Aug '07) Then my fan came on and would stay on for hours after my engine was turned off and now my heating is playing up too and my fan isnt coming on at all ever any more.
I've been told it could be that I need a new thermostat and new plugs but I have also been told that it could be that my head gasket has gone?
Does anyone have any ideas.

 the ignition lock seized key not turning tried WD40 nothing .Got a replacement part from breakers yard
it is still not working ...... Is there anything i should be doing to correct this problem .. It is the immobileser it turns the ignition on but wont start the motor help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, I try it - and it´s much better...
Car is nice ... but namely photos are very nice! I ma sure that MY "two colors" 214 is better!

Try to copy those addresses without the '[/img]' at the end of each of them. Nice pictures  I'd buy a new grille, though.

Hi all,
416 - after going over many ramps (slowly) at long series of road works, speedo fell to zero. Now seems to register about half actual road speed. Sometimes falling back to zero.
Have checked wiring, removed sender, removed speedo drive and at least drive seems to be ok. Can anyone help with this please?
